Teresa Giudice Offers an Update on How Joe Giudice Keeps In Touch with His Daughters from Prison
Here's how Milania shared her new song with her RHONJ dad while he's serving time.
Teresa Giudice offered an update on how her husband, Joe Giudice, is communicating with his family while he serves out his 41-month prison sentence. As viewers saw on this week's The Real Housewives of New Jersey, he communicated with Milania as she was working on her new song "I Can't Wait to Grow Up" and its big debut.
While the process is still the same on Joe's end, in that he has to send a message from a physical computer, his family now receives text messages from him instead of an email-type message via CorrLinks. Teresa noted in the The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 After Show that he can send and receive as many messages as he wants as long as he's at a computer: "That's when he gets [our messages], when he goes and checks it and logs on."
Joe is currently serving 41 months for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud at Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania. His sentence began in March 2016 at the FCI in Fort Dix, New Jersey and he was transferred at the end of 2017 to the Pennsylvania location. A judge ruled back in October that Joe will be deported back to Italy following the completion of his 41-month prison sentence. His legal team has since filed an appeal in that decision, and they are awaiting word on what's next for him.
In the clip above, Teresa speaks more about watching her little girl take this big step in her life. And you can bet both she and Joe, despite the distance, are glowing in the wake of the achievement as she revealed how he first heard his daughter's song. She said, "We were very, very, very, very proud of her 'cause it's something that she really put her heart into it."
