Teresa: It Hurts When My Family Calls Me Names

The RHONJ says she's trying to rise above all the family drama.

By Megan Johnson

The scandals were in full force on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey— family fighting, cheating rumors...more family fighting!—and Teresa Giudice says she’s had enough of it.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

The RHONJ star sounded off in her blog about last night’s episode, which saw Melissa Gorga being made aware of rumors that she cheated on her husband Joe Gorga. And she says seeing the drama unfold between her family is starting to wear on her—though she chooses to address it as if she were writing her own memoir.

What would each chapter of her book reveal?

“In it, my own family members and friends I've had for 10 years turn on me," Teresa writes. "They hate me and hate on me like it's their full time job. They sit around every day talking about me non-stop, even when I'm not there. They talk and talk and talk some more about how obsessed I am with them. They bang their hands and wave napkins and cackle about how crazy I am."

Teresa also says that while she's painted as the source for all of her family's pain, "It does hurt that [they] always [assume] the worst of me. It hurts when they call me names. It hurts when I see tabloids with the "inside scoop" on my parents, my in-laws, and my marriage. But what can I do? Nothing because it's only fiction. Right?"

Might peace be nearing between the Gorgas and the Giudices? Not likely. Next week, the clan heads to a retreat to work on their problems—and things quickly fall apart. Check out a preview clip below.
