Terry Dubrow Says Wrestler Chyna Filmed an Appearance on Botched Before Her Death
"She was going through a really good phase of her life," the #RHOC plastic surgeon said.
Plenty of famous faces have sought plastic surgery help from Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif on Botched over the past two seasons. The show's Season 3 premiere was going to be no exception.
Pro wrestling legend Joanie "Chyna" Laurer filmed an episode of Botched before she was found dead in her home on April 20, Terry recently confirmed to ET after she was rumored to appear in the Season 3 premiere. Chyna also tweeted about appearing on the Botched season premiere in March.
However, it's now unclear if we'll be able to see Chyna's final TV appearance, according to Terry. “We’re being very sensitive to what happened,” Terry told ET at a launch party for his and his wife Heather Dubrow's new book Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig Present The Only Guide You'll Ever Need to the Best Anti-Aging Treatments. “We’re waiting for sort of the smoke to clear, but I can tell you that Chyna was wonderful. She was going through a really good phase of her life when she was on Botched, and I think we helped her to get some places, but unfortunately things happen.”
According to ET, Botched's Season 3 premiere will likely not feature Chyna, though no official word has yet been given on the matter. Chyna's death is still under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examine-Coroner, NBC News reported last week.
Botched returns Tuesday, May 10 at 9/8c on E! See what you can expect from the new season, below.
