The Below Deck Finale Included Nearly $250,000 in Tips & Captain Lee Says the Crew “Earned All of It”
We have all the details on the Season 10 tip from the final charter guests of the season that Captain Lee says is the “most money collectively” he’s “ever seen.”
Season 10 of Below Deck ended with a lot of green for the team, as seen in the finale episode, which aired on March 20. The final charter guests simply loved their experience, and they found the perfect way to prove it.
Co-primary charter guest Keith applauded the team’s work ethic, adding, as he handed the thick tip envelope to Captain Lee Rosbach, “We really appreciate it. Hopefully, this [will bring] a little extra smile to your face. We really enjoyed ourselves.”
Spoiler alert: There will be smiles.
The tip envelope certainly looked filled to the brim, and soon the group would find out just how grateful the guests were following their stay. As the crew sat down to close out the charter season, Captain Lee shared some exciting (and we mean exciting) news with the yachties. The final charter guests of the season truly loved their time on St. David so much that they tipped the crew a lot bringing their tip total to nearly — wait for it — $250,000 (take a moment to let that soak in).
“Well done, guys,” Captain Lee told his crew. “Just a really, really cohesive unit. It meant the world to me. It makes my life a whole lot easier. And when I’m happy, everybody’s happy, right? So let’s get down to some money. This is the most money collectively as a group I’ve ever seen. You guys split up $222,300… $17,000 per person. Damn near a quarter of a million [dollars].”
As for the tip, he added, “And this tip came in at $20,000, so that’s $1,500 per person even money [on top]. Not too bad. You f--king nailed it.”
That means each yachtie walked away with a tip of $18,500 for that last charter. Not too shabby.
In an interview in the episode, Captain Lee noted, “This crew is truly exceptional. You don’t walk away with a quarter of a million [dollars] because people like the way you put on your socks that morning. They earned all of it.”
By the way, BravoTV.com actually caught up with several of the charter guests from the season and they revealed their experiences of spending time on St. David. They spilled all kinds of tea about the crew and Captain Lee, which you can check out below.
