The Countess Slams Ramona's AA Finger Pointing

LuAnn weighs in on RHONY reunion accusation.

By Lauren Metz

Talk about a boozy bombshell. During Monday's conclusion of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion, Ramona Singer flipped the table (no Teresa Giudice pun intended) on Jill Zarin.

"You know what, Jill? I really respect you. I think you're a fabulous woman," Ramona said after being questioned by Andy Cohen about her fondness for Pinot. "I know at times you had problems. You went to AA. You had an alcoholic problem. Just because you did doesn't mean I do."

Trigger. Pulled. "I never drank my whole life," Jill immediately shot back but then clarified, "I've had alcohol. I drink on occasion – Jewish holidays."

The quarter of Team Brunette in question then admitted to going to AA – but with a friend. Picking up for her teammate, LuAnn de Lesseps unloaded her thoughts on the situation to Wetpaint. "I think that Ramona was wrong to go after Jill and AA — I mean, that's the whole point of AA, to be anonymous... When Ramona gets pushed into a corner, she lashes out to get the topic off of herself and what issues she might have. Instead of defending herself in a real way, she just deflects it to somebody else."

Meanwhile, Jill's holding out hope for an apology. "Whether it is true or not, is irrelevant," Jill tells People. "She should really retract that, and try to figure out how to go back out there and say, 'I'm sorry.'"

What do you think: Should Ramona apologize? Start a Tweet Battle, and make your case.
