Here's What Brandi Redmond Has to Say About Being the Only Redhead Real Housewife
The #RHOD mom has an important PSA.
Difficult People star and creator and proud redhead Julie Klausner wasn't too pleased with the lack of gingers in The Real Housewives when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in August. But both she and Andy Cohen agreed that there was one ginger beacon of hope repping it for redheads everywhere: The Real Housewives of Dallas' Brandi Redmond.
Brandi later told The Daily Dish that it was "awesome" to hear Andy and Julie's praise, but she agreed with the comedian that the lack of redheads on The Real Housewives and the world at large is a real problem. "Redheads are endangered species, so we need to make more," she told The Daily Dish.
Of course, we can't forget about The Real Housewives of New York City's Jill Zarin and The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo, who were also famously redheaded Real Housewives. But Brandi said that she is happy to represent for redheads on RHOD these days, as well as show off her "family of redheads," including her husband Bryan and daughters Brooklyn and Brinkley.
In fact, RHOD doesn't stand for The Real Housewives of Dallas, according to Brandi. Find out what ginger-related phrase the acronym stands for in the Redmond household in the video, above.
