Kyle Richards' Daughter Sophia Umansky Was Almost Upstaged by Sister Portia at Her High School Graduation (UPDATED)
"I cried all day yesterday," the Beverly Hills 'Wife shared.
UPDATE (May 31, 2018, 12:47 P.M.): Kyle revealed a few more details to The Daily Dish about what's next for Sophia: "She’s moving to DC. She’s going to the business school, studying business. She got scholarships."
The original story continues below:
It's been a busy season for Kyle Richards, who has spent the last few weeks celebrating some really big milestones for her daughters. Fresh off of Alexia Umansky's graduation from Emerson College, Sophia Umansky just graduated high school over the weekend. And, yes, the event left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom with a lot of feelings.
"Where do I begin [Sophia]? Watching you graduate from high school today and speaking at your graduation is a moment I will cherish forever. Your intelligence, wit, determination, kindness [and] confidence is admired by many. Especially by me. You have always had the strength and courage to speak up for what you believe in and never allow yourself to be intimidated or back down. You are a force to be reckoned with. All wrapped up in a beautiful package. I’m so excited for you and this new chapter in your life," the proud mom wrote on Instagram. "I know you will do great things and can achieve whatever you set out to do. I love you so much. Congratulations Fifi."
In addition to her parents and siblings, aunt Kim Richards and longtime family friend, Faye Resnick, also attended the graduation ceremony.
But we have to say that while Sophia, who will attend college in Washington, D.C., simply slayed on her big day, her little sister/Umansky family superstar, Portia, nearly stole the show with her speech in her sisters' honor. And the moment totally left Kyle overwhelmed: "This old soul wanted to make a speech for her sisters’ graduation lunch? I cried all day yesterday."
