Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went out with a bang, thanks to Kim Richards. Um, was Bunnygate one of the most iconic RHOBH moments of all time or what (clip above)? But you're just going to have to savor that epic reunion moment because Kim won't be appearing in the new season of RHOBH.
Of course, that's an adjustment for Kim's sister Kyle Richards since they started their RHOBH journey together. “I miss my sister Kim being on the show. It feels weird to do the show without my sister, honestly," Kyle told PEOPLE at the RHOBH Season 8 premiere party in West Hollywood on Friday, December 15. "I’m a creature of habit! I don’t like change.”
Now Kim is focusing on her family, including her 1-year-old grandson Hucksley Andrew Wiederhorn, and on her sobriety, which is going well, according to Kyle. “She’s with her grandchild almost every day,” Kyle shared. “I see her with him and I’m like, ‘Okay you’re good. You’re so happy.’”
Kim opened up about her sobriety to E! News in September and shared how her loved ones are helping her maintain her sobriety. "And also I have four amazing kids and having my grandson come into my life this last year has changed [my] world. He has lit up my life. My kids — I still enjoy being a mother as much as I did the day they were born. I still have so much fun with my kids," she said. "I have amazing friends, I have these amazing kids and their significant others and my grandson. I know that God has more out there for me but my life is so good today. It really is, I just want to share that last part about how I feel — life is good today. Between my children, my friends, my grandson, my life here, I just feel very blessed and very grateful."
You know we're in for a wild and glamorous ride when Season 8 of RHOBH premieres Tuesday, Demember 19 at 9/8c. Catch a sneak peek, below.
