Danielle Staub Is Experiencing "Some Difficulties" with Her Marriage 2 Months After Tying the Knot
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shares an update on her relationship.
Danielle Staub is committed to making her marriage with Marty Caffrey work, despite some recent challenges.
Following reports that The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom and Marty had split a little more than two months after tying the knot, her rep released a statement on the status of their relationship. “Danielle is having some difficulties with her marriage right now and is hoping everything will work out,” Danielle's rep said in a statement to PEOPLE.
Danielle wed Marty on Bimini Island in the Bahamas on May 5. Teresa Giudice served as Danielle's matron of honor, while Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs were also a part of the bridal party, along with Danielle's daughters Christine and Jillian Staub.
The RHONJ couple began dating in 2016. Fans got to see the moment Marty proposed to Danielle last season of RHONJ when he surprised her by popping the question in front of Teresa and Margaret, along with dancers and a violinist playing in the background.
Danielle previously shared with The Daily Dish how she knew Marty was going to be someone special in her life upon meeting him for the first time. "Marty and I, we met, and it just seemed like we immediately were drawn to one another," she gushed. "There's something about him I hadn't seen in anyone except for, believe it or not, the father of my children. Very caring, very sweet."
Danielle spent the weekend surrounded by loved ones at her masquerade-themed birthday party. Teresa and Danielle's children came out to celebrate her big day.
