Luann de Lesseps on This Season of The Real Housewives of New York City: "I'm Glad It's Over!"
The #RHONY mom has some mixed feelings about this season.
Another season of The Real Housewives of New York City has come and gone faster than a New York minute. Though we're all sad to see the magic that was Season 9 come to an end, there is one New York Housewife who can't exactly say that she's going to miss reliving this installment of RHONY.
Luann de Lesseps bid a fond farewell to Season 9 of RHONY on Twitter Wednesday night. "Tonight's the final night of Season 9, hope you all enjoyed it!" she tweeted. "I did but I have to say ... I'm glad it's over!"
Luann also said "ciao for now" to Season 9 of RHONY in a tweet that also features a video of what appears to be her departing from the reunion.
This season of RHONY was filled with some incredible highs and some devastating lows for Luann. "Well, I mean as you can imagine, the highlight of the season, for me, was getting married," Luann named as her rose of the season as the reunion came to a close, before sharing her thorn, or the low point. "Well, probably to hear all of the talk about Tom [D'Agostino] because I love him. And so it was tough, but I got through it. And I appreciate all of you being concerned about me and looking out for me and having my back."
It wasn't long after the RHONY ladies sat down for the Season 9 reunion that Luann announced that she and Tom would be getting a divorce. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce," Luann confirmed on Twitter in early August. "We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"
Luann will open up more about the split when she sits down with Andy Cohen for the special Watch What Happens Live One-on-One with Luann de Lesseps on Wednesday, September 6 at 11/10c. Check out a preview of the chat, below.
