Shannon got emotional and choked up as she discussed her breakup with Andy Cohen (clip above). "When we filmed the reunion, we had been separated for five weeks, and there was a part of me that thought that getting it out there would be a sense of relief, but in actuality, it made it official and it made it real," Shannon shared. "So I've been having good days and bad days. Like last week, I saw he took his wedding ring off, and that's inevitable, but it's just making the adjustment, and I have good days and bad days."

However, Shannon is trying to stay positive during this difficult time. "No more downer tonight. It's all good," she said on WWHL. "This had to happen. And good times are ahead."

Shannon confirmed that she and David had separated after 17 years of marriage in an interview with PEOPLE at the end of October. "After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate," she told The Daily Dish in a statement at the time. "We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters. This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time.”

Still, Shannon and David are committed to keeping their family together with daughters Sophie, 16, Stella, 13, and Adeline, 13. The RHOC parents were spotted out on a "family outing" together at a USC football game earlier this month. Shannon later clarified that their reunion did not mean that she and David were planning on reconciling and confirmed that they are still separated.
