This Is Where Things Stand Between Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks Today
The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur reflects on the rumors spread by Phaedra Parks.
Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams might be in a better place following all the drama from back in Season 9, but that doesn't mean that The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur is completely ready to forgive and forget everyone involved. When Kandi appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, one caller wanted to know if Kandi thought there was any chance that she and Phaedra Parks could reconcile given just how intense things had gotten between them several seasons ago after Phaedra played a role in spreading rumors regarding Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker.
Kandi noted that what Phaedra said about her (alleging the singer tried to drug and take advantage of Porsha), "was too far, that was too much." She was also firm in her stance that she has no plans to reunite with Phaedra. She did share whether or not she ever heard from her or received an apology in connection with the incident, which you can check out above.
Back in early 2017, when the women were dealing with all the allegations during the Season 9 reunion, Kandi wrote about it in her cast blog:
"I was shocked, angry, disgusted... I could go on. Even with everything that had happened between me and Phaedra, I still didn't think Phaedra would go so low as to tell someone that I wanted to drug them. Being an attorney, you would think she wouldn't intentionally spread defamatory false statements about someone," Kandi wrote on Bravotv.com. "The sad thing was that she didn't even seem sorry for what she had done. I was thinking, 'Damn, was there a reason to hate me this much?' She already assisted Johnnie [Winston] in helping him to meet an attorney to sue me, and now I find out she was spreading accusations that I want to drug people and take them home! This is too much. I'm so glad the truth finally came out and I'm glad to be able to move on from this. Thank you to everyone who remained #TeamKandi, especially when others were believing the lies!"
