Throwback Thursday: Jax Taylor's Cute Bowl Cut

Before he was a ladykiller, the Vanderpump Rules star was an adorable youngster.

Ever wonder what our Bravolebs looked like before they were Bravolebs? Each Thursday, we'll celebrate #TBT and dig through the archives for a vintage photo from the past—or revisit a memorable moment from one of our shows—and share some back story on the picture. This week, we re-visit a classic photo of Jax Taylor.

Long before he was slinging beverages and breaking hearts at SUR, Jax Taylor always knew how to ham it up for the camera. In this endearing throwback photo, Jax sports a blue v-neck soccer shirt along with some serious bangs that are possibly teetering on a bowl cut.

But, while he may look like your typical all-American boy, Vanderpump Rules fans may not know that Jax actually spent a chunk of his early childhood living Down Under. When recently asked what may surprise fans about him, Jax dished about his Aussie upbringing, “I have dual citizenship. I am a citizen of the U.S. and I’m also a citizen of Australia. My mom is Australian, but I left when I was six, so I don’t remember growing up there.”

Child no more, Jax’s boyish good looks matured into a full-fledged model face representing brands from Target to Nordstrom. Interestingly, his career in the cutthroat modeling profession even included a brief stint as real life roommate to a pre-Hollywood Channing Tatum. “He was my first roommate in New York when I first started modeling,” Jax confessed to Andy Cohen in March on Watch What Happens Live.
