Tom D'Agostino Addresses Reports About His Marriage to Luann D'Agostino

Update: Luann de Lesseps announced that she and Tom D'Agostino plan to divorce on Twitter on August 3. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce," she tweeted. "We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"

Tom D'Agostino is speaking out about rumors that there may be trouble in paradise in his marriage to Luann D'Agostino. 

The Real Housewives of New York City spouse commented on the speculation to Us Weekly. "There is a lot of love here,” he said. “We want it to succeed.” 

This comes after recent reports that Luann and Tom have been facing some issues in their relationship. "Tom and I are in love and marriage takes work," Luann said of the gossip in a statement to The Daily Dish. "We are working on this together."

Luann and Tom's relationship has been a major topic of conversation among her RHONY pals, even before the couple wed in an elegant Palm Beach ceremony on December 31, 2016. Tom's fidelity came into question when it was revealed that he had kissed another woman shortly after the couple got engaged. Even though Luann forgave him, the couple moved on, and they went on to tie the knot, questions about their marriage have continued to come up this season of RHONY. Amid all the drama, Luann has kept her faith in Tom and their marriage. "Love always prevails!" she tweeted in defense of her relationship in May.
