It's not easy fitting in with an established group of friends, and Lala Kent has learned that the hard way, butting heads with many members of the Vanderpump Rules crew this season. However, she has two allies in Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, who think Lala is one of the most genuine people on the show. "I think Lala's cool," Tom told The Daily Dish. "I actually think Lala's been pretty more real than a lot of people on the show."
Ariana echoed Tom's sentiment, although she acknowledged that Lala has a tendency to ruffle other people's feathers. "I think she's a pretty stand up girl," she told The Daily Dish. "Sometimes, she'll say things just to get under somebody's skin."
As for the recent incident in which Lala made waves with her fellow SURvers when she swam topless with Faith Stowers in Hawaii (clip above), Ariana thought it was way less vulgar than what some other people were doing that day. "The [guys wearing] Speedos were way more offensive than two girls, 20 feet away, under the water without tops on," Ariana said. "I'm sorry, but like A, who cares? B, I don't find boobs to be a sexual thing."
Tom agreed that seeing a woman go topless just isn't that big of a deal. "Being a model for 15 years, I've been backstage, runway shows are just, they're like nakedfest, so it's no thing. It's no thing to [Ariana]. It's no thing to me," Tom said.
Ariana also wanted to remind everyone that this isn't the first time we've seen nudity on Vanderpump Rules. "I thought it was weird because I've seen the show, and I seem to remember [there] being a lot of nudity," she said. "I remember seeing Katie [Maloney] go skinnydipping in Cabo. I remember people in the daytime going in the water and taking their tops off in Cabo. I remember us doing a photoshoot in which I and Katie were both naked as f***ing Peter [Madrigal], for crying out loud, which was horrible."
And it probably won't be the last time we see the Vanderpump Rules squad go commando, either.
