After the drama of New Orleans, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz are finally in a good place — and almost Mr. and Mrs. once and for all. The Vanderpump Rules crew is eagerly anticipating and finalizing all the details so that everything's just right for the longtime couple to get married ... and you're invited to the nuptials! We're breaking down some of the buzziest upcoming moments in The Daily Dish Morning After.
1. Vanderpump Rules
Before Tom and Katie can say "I do," the couple and their pals let loose with last-minute dress tailoring, some signature antics (like floating down a lazy river, natch), and a few special surprises and guests. The Maloney-Schwartzs will finally walk down the aisle next Monday at 9/8c. So make sure you save the date!
2. But First...
On Monday's episode, Lala Kent made her great return back to L.A. — and SUR — to try and explain to Lisa Vanderpump why she went M.I.A. The emotional moment came with some harsh words of advice from Lisa, as well as a few tears from the former hostess about her decision to walk away, revealing that she suffers from anxiety and just needed some family time in Utah to re-focus her energy.
3. Summer House
Speaking of disappearing acts, can Carl Radke ever redeem himself with his pals after he mysteriously disappeared during a night out on the town? Lauren Wirkus doesn't seem so sure... Oh, man, its been quite the summer, guys!
4. Love on the Brain
Turns out that when summer ends, the Summer House crew's minds wander to other types of passion. And for Carl that special something becomes his J-O-B. "So there's a lot of options in New York, as Kyle said. I actually don't do dating apps. I think they're lame. I like meeting people in person," Carl said. "Going out and meeting people is fun. But at this point in my life right now, I kind of want to just focus on career, making money, progressing, and I feel like someone will organically find me at the same time."
5. Home, Sweet Home
Porsha Williams has settled down with herself in her posh Atlanta-area home. And it's a life development The Real Housewives of Atlanta radio host is feeling good about. "I got exactly what I wanted and I use my home — whether people say it's too big for just one person or not — I use my home as something to inspire me," she said. "Every day I walk down my steps and I look around at what I have and what I'm blessed with. I feel proud when I go to work. It makes me want to give my all, so that's what it means to me."
