Top Chef in Super Bowl Pre-Show
Tune in before the big game to watch your favorite Top Chef alums in a cook-off judged by Tom Colicchio.
While our friends over at Television Without Pity think of reasons for you to watch the Super Bowl, we have one: Top Chef!
Top Chef will be featured in the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show. Tom Colicchio will be the head judge (Could we have it any other way?) of a cook-off between Season 4ís Spike, Andrew, Richard, and Antonia, where the chefs are challenged to cook homegrown fare from the two Super Bowl teamsí hometowns ó Pittsburgh and Arizona. Letís hope Spike and Andrew can redeem themselves after their performances on the past weekís episode!
And last night, our very own Tom Colicchio and some Top Chef alumni participated in the annual charity event Taste of the NFL, a food and wine showcase, which was being touted as the hottest ticket next to the Bowl itself. This year, 31 top chefs from each of the 31 NFL cities were paired up with former and current football players. Every NFL city's Feeding America food bank network will receive a portion of the net proceeds from the event with special local emphasis placed on America's Second Harvest of Tampa Bay.
