Steve Harvey Offers Up Valentine's Day Advice for Singles
The talk show host and romance expert has some tips for those looking for love this year.
In case you've somehow managed to make it through cuffing season without being, well, cuffed up in time for Valentine's Day, don't fret. Steve Harvey's here to help. The relationship guru has some key words of wisdom for those single and ready to mingle this February 14.
"Don't sit at the house and mope. Go out with some friends, love is love," Steve, who also serves as the celebrity spokesperson for Green Dot Reloadable Prepaid Cards, told The Daily Dish. "It ain't just for couples. It can be for groups — not in the way you're thinking. Go out and have a good time. Nobody wants a sad person, so when you're sitting at the house moping, what does that accomplish? Just don't go to a place where there's a lot of couples, where they're in your face."
But his counseling doesn't end there. Should you end up meeting that special someone during your night out, don't worry about trying to be something that you're not. "All you got to do is be wonderfully attractive as you are," he explains. "Then when you meet the man of your dreams, all you got to do is be the woman of his dreams."
