Here’s How Ally Lewber Really Feels About James Kennedy and Lala Kent’s Hookup
On WWHL, the Vanderpump Rules newcomer reacted to the pair’s confession.
James Kennedy and Lala Kent dropped a bombshell during the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 premiere when they revealed they had hooked up after he started dating Raquel Leviss.
Raquel was understandably upset during the February 22 episode when she learned that she had been cheated on, but it turns out she wasn’t the only one. James made an appearance on Wednesday’s subsequent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and since his current girlfriend, Ally Lewber, was in the audience, Andy made sure to ask for her thoughts on the matter.
More specifically, he said, “Does knowing that make you worry that he could be hooking up with Lala or someone else right now while you are together?”
“I mean, I’m not gonna lie, at first it definitely did,” Ally responded. “I didn’t enjoy hearing the news. But we’ve worked through that. We’ve come a long way, and I trust him.”
Andy then turned back to James to discuss his response when Raquel confronted him about the hookup. “Could you have been a bit nicer?” he asked, to which James replied, “Of course. I think there’s always room for me to be nicer, Andy.”
He explained that he wasn’t in the best mood on the day he and Raquel had the conversation, though. “It was the day I was seeing Graham Cracker again for six months,” he said of their shared dog, “and I think that’s part of the reason I was a little bit intense that day.”
Further discussing James’ ex, Andy asked for his response to Raquel telling Lisa Vanderpump that she still loved him.
James’ response? “I just feel like Raquel is in a place where she’s definitely finding herself and figuring out all of the friendships and relationships around the show. I think she broke down and said she still has love for me, but I don’t think that means [she’s], like, in love.”
The same can’t be said for James when it comes to Ally. As he gushed on WWHL, “I love Ally so much and her family so much.”
Reflecting on his past infidelities, James concluded, “I do believe that, in life, you can’t change the past and who you were; you can just grow from it.”
