We Have an Update on Lala Kent and James Kennedy’s Friendship
We also have the scoop on where Lala stands with Lisa Vanderpump and Katie Maloney today.
To say that Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent and James Kennedy have experienced ups and downs in their friendship over the years is probably an understatement. But these days it looks like these two are in a good place. How do we know? Well, he recently served as her photographer for an Instagram she posted and she thanked him for his work.
“[James] coming through with getting me content. [And] my orca tattoo is getting a moment,” she captioned the photo, which served as a subtle update on their current status. With a BFF like James, who even needs an Instagram BF to snap your content for you?
But he’s not the only Vanderpump Rules pal she’s been hanging out with lately. In fact, Lala was recently honored by the Brent Shapiro Foundation, and she was joined on the red carpet by Lisa Vanderpump and Katie Maloney.
“Over the weekend my sobriety was acknowledged at the [Brent Shapiro Foundation] charity event. I am honored and humbled by this. This foundation does such incredible work,” she wrote. “Taking pain and tragedy and turning it into purpose — giving kids the opportunity to a bright future by incentivizing them to stay sober in their most vulnerable and impressionable years. I am so proud of the kids who got scholarships, and I can’t wait to see what they do in this world. I’m grateful for the people who have supported me in my sober journey, protecting me and believing in me. I am blessed beyond words. Thank you to Bob and Linell Shapiro for this great honor. Together, we will not only change lives but save them, in honor of Brent.”
Lala has definitely had a lot to celebrate lately. She recently celebrated turning 32 and opened up about the moment on Instagram, writing, “Thank you all for the birthday love! To say I’m excited for this year would be an understatement. I’m happy. This is 32, baby [and] I’m taking what’s mine.”
Around the same time, she also shared a sweet photo with her daughter, Ocean, captioning the moment, “I’m telling O the game plan, [and] she understands the assignment.”
