Andy Cohen Confirms Vanderpump Rules Has Resumed Filming Amid Tom and Ariana Split
The WWHL host said “the cameras have been up” on Vanderpump Rules after the breakup news.
Following the news that Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have split up after nearly a decade together, the latest is that Andy Cohen has confirmed that Vanderpump Rules, currently in Season 10, has resumed filming.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host shared that filming on the Bravo show has resumed during an episode of his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, this week. “You may have heard rumors that the cameras were up over the weekend — yes, the cameras were up,” he said (via E! News). “The cameras have been up on everyone, getting reactions and filming, so you will see this play out in a sense this season of Vanderpump Rules, before the reunion.”
Andy previously addressed the former couple’s breakup when he asked on social media, “How many parts is too many parts for the [Vanderpump Rules] reunion???” to which Lisa Vanderpump replied, “Ummm one…I’m not sure my heart is up to it.”
“You have time to get a pacemaker,” Andy quipped back, “because I NEED YOU.”
Lisa will join Andy in the WWHL Clubhouse on Wednesday, March 8, and she teased that she’ll likely address the breakup, sharing on Twitter, “I think you will hear my thoughts shortly.”
Ariana has yet to publicly address the breakup, but Tom released a statement on Saturday, March 4, with regard to his role in the split amid rumors of an affair.
“Hey, I fully understand and deserve [your] anger [and] disappointment towards me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz, my friends, and family out of this situation,” the statement began. “Schwartz specifically only found out about this very recently, and most definitely did not condone my actions. This was a very personal thing.”
Sandoval also asked that anyone upset with him not take it out on Schwartz, their other business partners, or the employees of Schwartz & Sandy’s and Tom Tom. “Please direct [your] anger toward me and not them. They did nothing wrong," he wrote, going on to apologize to them and anyone else who has “to suffer for my actions.”
Sandoval continued, “I will be taking a step back [and] taking a hiatus out of respect for my employees [and] partners.”
As for the breakup itself, “I need some time to address everything else,” he concluded. “Sorry for everything.”
