This Is Where James Kennedy and Logan Noh's Friendship Currently Stands
Has the Vanderpump Rules DJ been able to rebuild his broken friendship with his former best mate?
James Kennedy and his former bestie Logan Noh sparked conversation and rumors this season of Vanderpump Rules. While James insisted the two were platonic friends, Logan broke James’ trust when he spread a rumor that the two were hooking up, before ultimately admitting it was a lie. When James and girlfriend Raquel Leviss stopped by The Daily Dish podcast, hosts Rachael Roberts and Megan Segura wanted to know if the former best mates had repaired their once-tight friendship.
“I’m not talking to Logan,” James revealed. “You know, it’s just like, I’ve had enough of just having to check my phone in the morning to see who’s telling me to go f--- myself that day.” Since seeing their conflict play out on the show, James said, “I’m the one relieving that… he’s causing drama that I don’t need, so it’s like, why even try to bother?"
James previously told The Daily Dish, "I cant be a in a f---ing place in my life where I have to juggle my girlfriend and my best friend. I'd rather just cut my BF off because I've got more sh-- to worry about ... Do I think we'll rekindle our friendship ever? Absolutely not."
It’s not just Logan with whom James is on the outs; he says he and one-time BFF Lala Kent aren’t speaking now, either. “Leave that to Lala. She’s the one that makes the rules, apparently,” he said. “One minute she’s up, the next minute she’s down. Having to film the show and then make up and then having to rewatch it again, people just don’t know how to handle it.”
“I can see how it’s hard for Lala,” he added, noting that he was disrespectful toward her boyfriend. “Sometimes I regret what I say, wish I could take things back, but at the end of the day, it’s like, sorry about it but get over it. If you aren’t over it, then don’t keep saying you are and having to f------ cut me off over and over.”
Lala, who previously referred to her relationship with Logan and James as "The Three Musketeers,” said of James, “I'm not gonna spread rumors or even let his name come out of my mouth in a very mean way. I will never voluntarily be around that person.”
She also told The Daily Dish that James speaking out against her boyfriend was her breaking point: “There's no coming back from it.”
