This Is What the Vanderpump Rules Producers Really Think of the Cast

There's never a dull moment on Vanderpump Rules, and if anyone can confirm that, it's the group of dedicated producers working behind the scenes of the show. Although we get our fair share of drama from each episode, there's still so much that goes unseen during filming. But now, the producers are spilling all of their secrets and revealing how they really feel about some of the show's cast members to BravoTV.com.

The producers can always count on Scheana Shay to be honest. "[She] never fails to surprise and amaze us with what she's comfortable sharing," say producers. "Sometimes you'll ask her things you think she'll be offended by or private about, and she turns out to be totally open."

Producers think Tom Sandoval has "really come into his own as an owner and boss," adding, "He's gotten comfortable making decisions and overseeing the staff — he's really good at it!"

Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd are #RelationshipGoals, according to the show's producers, because "they're always on the same page." The team admires that "they support and love each other unconditionally. They've built a literal empire together."

It meant a lot to producers that Stassi Schroeder thanked them in the acknowledgments section of her book. "We've been with her as she's gone from a bratty little waitress to the massively successful woman she is now... We're really proud of Stassi," gush producers.

Producers also shared this tidbit about the New York Times best-selling author: "Stassi once unknowingly took an edible before an interview and called freaking out. A producer drove to her house and brought her to the stage. We still interviewed her — but the footage wasn't usable."

New SURver Dayna Kathan and Scheana butt heads at work a lot during Season 8, — but out of the two of them, producers think Scheana could probably sweet-talk her way into the most tips. Sorry, Dayna!

Producers believe the cutest romantic relationship on the show is between Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. "Anytime they fight, it's very shocking for us," the team explains. Ah, we love a good bromance.

"Lisa can sniff out a lie with almost anyone," say producers. "She's got a great intuition for honesty." That's probably why so many of her employees turn to her for help and trust her judgement. 

There are a lot of new faces introduced to us during Season 8 — and all of the cast members seem to have different reactions to the additions. The guys are more accepting of new people than the girls, explain producers. But they say Jax Taylor takes the longest to warm up to new people because he's "set in his ways and doesn't like change."

Overall, the producers claim that Nathalie Pouille-Zapata (Lisa's business partner) is stricter than Lisa. "She's stricter on scheduling, getting shifts covered, and being on time. She runs a tight ship."
