Find Out Who Raquel Leviss Attended Scheana Shay & Brock Davies' Wedding With
Plus, the special role James Kennedy played in the Vanderpump Rules couple's big day.
Once Raquel Leviss completed her bridesmaid duties at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ destination wedding in Mexico on August 23, the Vanderpump Rules cast member got the party started. Raquel even brought a hot wedding date — but it wasn’t who you might expect.
Posing with her close friend Jenny in two photos outside Cancun’s Dreams Natura Resort & Spa, she captioned a wedding night Instagram post, “My date is hotter than your date.” Raquel added clinking champagne glasses and partying face emojis, also using the designated “Honey I Do” hashtag.
In the comments section, fellow bridesmaid and Vanderpump Rules cast member Ariana Madix called the duo her “faves” adding three heart-eye emojis for good measure.
In fact, Ariana and Raquel, who wore matching pink dresses to the after party, made the bash a girls’ night in general. On their Instagram Stories, they both shared a Polaroid of them taking a shot while the party was in full swing.
Meanwhile, Raquel’s ex-fiancé James Kennedy, who attended Scheana and Brock’s wedding with his girlfriend Ally, kept the beats going at what he called an “insane after party in the cave.” That wasn’t the only special role the DJ played: James also put together a special mix of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole for Scheana's walk down the aisle.
Two days before the main event, he also lounged poolside with the groom, as well as Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, who both acted as Brock’s groomsmen. “Mexico baby… here we gooooo!” James captioned the August 21 Instagram post in which he also congratulated Brock.
Ultimately the newlyweds’ big day was all about having their loved ones with them. “I just wanted us to have a good time with every person who is important to us," Scheana told People, also noting that they were happy to "be able to get that time for a few days with all of our friends and family to celebrate us."
