How Raquel Leviss’ Family Reacted to Her Relationship with Tom Sandoval (UPDATED)

UPDATED (June 8, 9:10 A.M.): Tom and Raquel's families' respective reactions to their affair once again became a topic of conversation — this time, on Part 3 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, which aired June 7.
Host Andy Cohen broached the subject by asking the two if and when they had told any of their family members that they were seeing each other behind Ariana's back.
Responded Tom, "I told my mom. She was extremely surprised. She was just, like, 'This is not good.' And I'm like, 'I know.'"
He also shut down a rumor that he and Raquel had spent Christmas with his family in his hometown of St. Louis. That said, Tom's parents have indeed met Raquel. "What do they think of her?" Andy asked, to which Tom responded, "I mean, I don't know." (She later confirmed that they had gone to St. Louis.)
Ariana, meanwhile, had a not-so-nice guess of her own.

More than two months after the news broke that Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval had ended their nine-year relationship amid allegations of infidelity, viewers are now learning more about the latter cast member’s involvement with Raquel Leviss. The Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale (aka Episode 15), which aired on May 17, highlighted what happened when the cameras picked back up to film in the immediate aftermath of Tom and Ariana’s split.
After sitting down to discuss the end of his relationship with the Something About Her co-creator (which ended with Ariana saying she “regret[s] ever loving” him), Tom went to Raquel’s apartment to talk about their seven-month entanglement.
Tom said his feelings for Raquel “came out of left field,” and the SUR waitress shared that she told her loved ones, including her mom, dad, and sister Kate, about their relationship.
“I had to tell my family about you,” Raquel said to Tom, who suspected that Raquel’s mom “f-cking hates” him.
“Little bit,” Raquel responded. She then asked the TomTom part owner if his family had any thoughts on her.
“They love you,” Tom said, although Raquel misheard him and replied, “I love you too.”
“I said, ‘They love you,’” Tom clarified. “But I love you too.”
After both saying “I love you,” Tom and Raquel sat down together on the couch. Though her family isn’t exactly in support of her relationship with Tom, Raquel said her loved ones have been there since the affair became public.
“I feel so isolated. I honestly feel like I only have you, my parents, and my sister to have, like, my best interests at heart,” she said to Tom. “And even with you, it’s questionable. It’s like, ‘Am I really going to put my life on the line for someone [who] would cheat on someone [who] they love so much? ’Cause then that makes me think that you would be capable of doing that to me. And I don’t want to get caught up in this whirlwind of a romance where I’m, like, blind to these things.”
Tom assured Raquel that he “would never do this if there wasn’t something here.” But in an interview on the episode, he sang a bit of a different tune.
“I can’t predict the future. Who’s to say — like, maybe things will work out with Raquel and I, maybe they won’t. But when I kissed Raquel, I felt hope. I felt like, ‘Wait a minute, you’re not washed up. Your best days aren’t behind you,’” the former SUR bartender said. “‘Maybe they’re just beginning.’”
