Raquel Leviss Offered up a Major Update on Her Career Plans

The Vanderpump Rules star opens up about what she's planning to do with her career in the future.

By Jocelyn Vena

Sure, Raquel Leviss is sharing her life with the world on Vanderpump Rules since being hired by Lisa Vanderpump to work at SUR, but as she teased at the Season 7 reunion she has other career aspirations as well.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Peacock and the Bravo app.

After having previously studied kinesiology with a focus on pre-occupational therapy at Sonoma State University, she still has plans to continue her education and pursue a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

"I think I’m gonna start applying very, very soon. I still have to take the GRE. I do have to study for that exam. And then I’ll start applying to schools. I’d like to stay in California, obviously. And it’s something that I’m ready to start pursuing sooner than later," she told The Daily Dish this week. (She previously explained that she wanted "to help kids with special needs" at the reunion last year.)

However, there is something else Raquel feels passionate about, as she explained to The Daily Dish.

"I love interior designing. I love decorating, it’s so fun," she said. "Home decorating is just something that I really love doing and I feel like not a lot of people know that about me."

As for whether that's something she'd like to pursue full-time some day, she noted: "I’m gonna say no because my goal, my plan is to still go to grad school and get my degree in Occupational Therapy. And that is the direction that, that I still want to go into. Even though it’s taking me longer than expected. But I am just enjoying my time now. And living out my L.A. life until I’m ready to move on with that career."

It should be noted that Raquel recently shared that she is currently unemployed from SUR amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
