Andy Cohen on His Friendship with Vicki Gunvalson: "We've Been Through a Lot"
"You had dark hair, and I had a different face," Vicki said of the beginning of their Real Housewives journey.
We all know that Andy Cohen loves the Real Housewives, and vice versa. But the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host and The Real Housewives of Orange County's Vicki Gunvalson have a relationship like no other.
That's because Vicki is the OG Housewife, having been a part of RHOC since its very first season premiered on March 21, 2006. As an executive at Bravo from 2004 to 2014, Andy was one of the people responsible for bringing Vicki into our lives. He still serves as an executive producer of The Real Housewives franchises today.
Andy and Vicki reminisced about their friendship, which spans more than a decade, during Monday night's WWHL After Show (clip above). Andy recalled a time during the early days of RHOC when Vicki got upset about what blogs were writing about her, and she asked him to get the website to take it down, which he, of course, had no jurisdiction over.
But the moment was all in good fun and reminded the pair of how much they have been through over the past 12 years. "[We go] back, way back," Vicki gushed during the WWHL After Show. "I love our life together. It's been a journey."
Andy agreed that he and Vicki have "been through a lot," so much so that Vicki joked about how much their appearances have changed. "You had dark hair, and I had a different face," she said with a laugh.
Here's to many more decades with these two!
