Vicki Gunvalson Says Tamra Judge's Friendship with Her Daughter Briana Culberson "Crossed the Line"
This #RHOC falling out had a major impact on the OG's daughter.
It's no secret that Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge have had a major falling out since last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, it may have surprised RHOC fans to learn during Monday night's episode that drama between Vicki and Tamra also meant a rift in Tamra's relationship with Vicki's daughter, Briana Culberson.
Tamra explained during Monday night's episode that she cut all ties with Briana when her friendship with Vicki was over. Similarly, Briana had not reached out to Tamra, which made for some awkwardness at the birthday party for Tamra's granddaughter Ava.
Vicki recently told The Daily Dish that she thought this was best for everyone moving forward. "Well, I think it was the right thing for Tamra to do to stop communicating with my daughter. I don't communicate with her children about her. My daughter is of age — she's 30 years old — and I don't tell Briana who to be friends with, but I did tell Briana, 'Don't trust Tamra on this situation, because she's going to try to wedge us the way she has in the past,'" Vicki explained. "She obviously was communicating with Briana — when I was not aware of — about me. So she kind of crossed the line with my daughter and I."
If these RHOC ladies aren't friends, they shouldn't be with each other's children either, according to Vicki. "I just would never do that. I would never communicate with Sidney [Barney] about Tamra. I told that to Tamra. I said, 'Put yourself in my place. I know you love Briana, and I love that you love Briana, but you also need to love me.' I think it was the right thing for Tamra to do is take a step back," Vicki said. "It's unfortunate. But I would never communicate with her children when we weren't friends. So I think she did the right thing."
Tamra and Briana's tension wasn't the only drama at Ava's birthday celebration. You need to see what went down between Shannon Beador and Lydia McLaughlin, below.
