One day after sharing that his wife Briana Culberson, daughter of The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson, was being placed on a "14-day quarantine" after developing coronavirus (COVID-19)-like symptoms, Ryan Culberson has some great news to share.
"The tests came back negative!!! Thank you everyone for your kind words and messages!" he wrote on Instagram.
The day before, Ryan had received a scary text from his wife, who had been working as a nurse in the ER at a hospital in North Carolina amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in which she described experiencing symptoms of the infection.
"I started coughing bad at work this morning and was short of breath. They put me on [a 14-day] quarantine and sent me home. I have to call occupational health in the morning to follow up and see what's next. No fever yet but I have chills," Briana's text read. "I'm going to sleep upstairs and probably will have to stay away from you guys as much as possible until I know more."
Ryan had stressed that he wasn't sharing Briana's health news for sympathy: "Woke up to the text every medical family dreads this morning. Guys please take these warnings a little more seriously. It’s not just your family you’re putting at risk! Not looking for sympathy, just trying to raise awareness. Please keep Briana in your thoughts and prayers!" he wrote on Instagram.
