In a time before Scheana Marie and Tom Sandoval were stirring things up with Lisa Vanderpump and the SURvers on Vanderpump Rules, they were hanging with the crew on MTV's The Hills. That's right, Scheana and Tom were once players in the game featuring Lauren Conrad, Speidi, Brody Jenner and Kristin Cavallari.
"Hahahaha. OMG, yes I was," Scheana tells the Daily Dish of her time on the series, further recalling how she even ended up on there. "Stacie 'the bartender' is one of my best friends," she says. "She was in my wedding. Definitely don't have pics from it. I had bangs and a double chin, lol. Barely recognizable! I try to not draw attention to me on that because I looked so bad! It was fun. I only shot a couple times with them, but it was completely scripted. We knew the scene before we filmed it. So fake, but still fun! Haha."
Tom also remembers his time on the series. He appeared on the show—shirtless!—at a Teen Vogue casting call. "I get tweets about it all the time," he says. (Check out a vintage photo here.)
For those of you shocked by Scheana's revelation the show was scripted, Kristin confirmed just that when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live back in 2012. She said the show was "pretty fake" and had "fake relationships, fake fights."
"It was fun, 'cause you're acting," she said. "And that was more fun for me."
They weren't the only Bravo stars to find their way on The Hills. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong stopped by. And, of course, Kell on Earth's PR maven Kelly Cutrone played a major role in the work life of LC during her stint on the show.
