Want Kyle Richards' Hair? Tabatha Can Help

Salon superstar says long locks are surprisingly simple.

By Lauren Metz

Let your wallet rejoice! You don't need costly hair extensions to have glam tresses like Kyle Richards, because Tabatha Coffey's revealing the essential steps to stirring up hair envy of your own.

First things first, tell your hairdresser of your ultimate desired length but keep trimming! "People who are growing their hair out often stop coming into the salon altogether, and this is a big mistake," the Aussie superstar hairdresser tells BellaSugar. "Ends will start to split and you'll end up having to cut that damaged-looking hair anyway." Kyle snips her locks every six weeks, and Tabatha recommends doing the same but you can push it to 12 weeks.  "Whatever you do, don't wait six months to get in for that trim!" she warns.

In more money-saving news (and who doesn't appreciate that?) Kyle swears by budget-friendly Pantene products for daily upkeep. But when it's time to splurge, forget diamonds -- keratin is a girl's best friend. "In addition to regular conditioning hair at home, go into the salon every two months for deep conditioning keratin treatments to keep hair strong and healthy looking as it grows out," the Tabatha's Salon Takeover star confides.
