Armed with talent, star power and extensive acting acumens, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have long been celebrated as a Hollywood power couple. But what happened when they first decided to throw their scripts out the window and simply play themselves on camera? If you thought RHOBH was a stretch for this duo, think again. Their first foray as a reality TV couple was actually back in 2010 on TV Land’s Harry Loves Lisa. The series documented the pair and their two pre-teen daughters as they navigated the hectic Hollywood life. Check out this hilarious teaser from the show:

How to Watch

“It's interesting for us because Harry and I have worked in front of the camera now for many, many, many years. It's not that odd to have cameras around. It was odd to have them in our house. But, to have a camera around was so normal for us. It was actually very effortless and very easy,” Lisa said in an interview about the inaugural reality venture with her hubby.

Though it only ran for six episodes, when Harry Loves Lisa first hit airwaves it was the highest-rated reality TV premiere that the network had in years. But, amidst all the miscellaneous antics, the season culminated on one glaring topic that Bravo viewers have become extremely well acquainted with, Lisa’s lips.

Having corrective lip surgery wasn’t an easy decision for Lisa, but she ultimately went into it with extreme conviction:

Prior to surgery, Harry playfully attempted to plant one final smooch on Lisa:

However, the recovery process from her surgery was no laughing matter:

“What happens during the finale is nothing that I would have ever thought going in to do the show. It's very open, it's very honest, it's very real,” Lisa has said of Harry Loves Lisa. Thankfully, we all know Lisa and her lips enjoyed a happy ending.

Regardless, it’s amazing to watch a semi-vintage Lisa and Harry exude such a mixed bag of candidness, class, campiness, humor, grit and true love all in the same breath. Which is all the more reason why they’ve been the perfect addition to the RHOBH clan.
