Looks like Carole Radziwill only has the fondest feelings for her former flame George Clooney. The Real Housewives of New York star recently opened up about the actor and his bride, Amal Clooney.
"I think it's fantastic, and when anyone falls in love it's a good thing for everybody," Carole told People. George and Amal married in a lush, celeb-filled ceremony (Bono and Matt Damon attended) in 2014. They took over Venice, Italy last September. The bride walked down the aisle in a couture gown by late designer Oscar de la Renta.
With months of wedded bliss behind them, Carole is offering up her assessment of the accomplished lawyer. Amal "seems like an amazing woman, and he's a really great guy—really amazing guy," she said.
Carole's comments on the 2014 wedding come after she revealed that she dated the star "a million years ago, literally, during the Eisenhower administration" during an episode of RHONY last year.
As for her own love life, Carole is having fun. "I've been having a good time," she said. "I always have a good time. Life is good."
The new season of RHONY premieres on Bravo on April 7. In addition to the return of Bethenny Frankel, the ladies will welcome a new housewife to the fold Dorinda Medley.
"I've been presented with a lot of different challenges and that's why I wasn't afraid to be on the 'Housewives," Dorinda shared last month. "The whole point is to keep going forward and try again."
