On the season finale of Dancing Queens, we watched as the women dueled it out at Millennium. Leonie Biggs may not have won the top prize there, but she is still looking ahead to a delightfully not-so-perfect future. Here's what Leonie has been doing since Dancing Queens.

Where Is Leonie Biggs from Dancing Queens Now?

How to Watch

Leonie juggled much throughout the premiere season, but somehow, she managed to find time for ballroom dancing. Between her high-powered career in finance and being a wife and mother, she let viewers into her ballroom life, whether it was showing us her quality time with fellow dancer and friend Donie Burch or dance practice with professional dancing partner Kostiantyn “Koysta” Samarskyi.

Throughout Dancing Queens, Leonie also discussed the pressures she felt from her parents, conditioning her into having a perfectionist mindset that made her believe she had to win to matter.

“I was incredibly ambitious right from a young age, but I always wanted to do something creative,” Leonie told producers earlier in the season. “But the voice in my head would say, ‘You’re a boilermaker’s daughter who worked his guts out so you could be educated, be the best — and you’re about to throw it away. Shame on you.’ And that would be my driver.”

Wanting to break the cycle with her own daughter, Leonie ensured 6-year-old Charlotte would always feel unconditionally loved. And thankfully, by the end of the season, Leonie seemed to have a breakthrough in herself.

“I learned imperfections are often the most beautiful thing,” Leonie said in the season finale.

Still, there has been another major change for her. The Dancing Queens season finale revealed that Leonie and pro dancer Koysta are partners no more.

It’s unclear when and why they split ways. However, it would have come after they placed third at the Millennium DanceSport Championships in Dallas, Texas, which the Cleopatra-channeling Leonie referred to as “the Super Bowl of ballroom dancing.”

Dancing QueensGaëlle Benchetrit placed second, while Sabrina Strasser placed first.

Leonie and Koysta had only partnered up at the start of the season (many amateur ballroom dancers spend years with their professional partners in the world of Pro-Am dancing), though the pair seemed to have a good run. They won their first trial competition at the American Star Ball in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and they beat the competition at the Atlanta Open in Georgia, neither of which was an easy feat.

Leonie is reportedly shopping for a new dancing partner now.

Meanwhile, Leonie continues to live her best life with Charlotte and her husband, Nigel, since placing in the finals.

Leonie also is ready for “vacation mode,” as pictured in a rear-bearing black-and-white photo on Instagram as she readied to return to Mexico. Meanwhile, her daughter is currently doing some model work for Zara and Zara Kids.

“It was National Children’s Day on Sunday; representing multiple nationalities/ethnicities is my little cub,” Leonie said of Charlotte in a June 2023 post.
