Patricia Altschul Gives Her Honest Opinion of Whitney Sudler-Smith's New Girlfriend
The #SouthernCharm matriarch has some thoughts on Thomas Ravenel's love life, too.
There's a new lady in Whitney Sudler-Smith's life this season of Southern Charm. Whitney broke it off with his girlfriend from last season, Larissa Marolt, and has introduced his friends to a bubbly woman named Daisy, with whom he seems absolutely smitten.
But of course, there's one opinion that might reign supreme above all else: that of Whitney's mother, Patricia Altschul. Not only did the Southern Charm matriarch reveal that Whitney and Daisy are still together today during the Monday, April 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, but she later told The Daily Dish that she actually approves of the courtship. "I like her very much. She's charming. She's funny. She is devoted to him," Patricia gushed about the model. "She's very successful in her own right. She's in New York right now doing a big campaign. She's been on the cover of numerous magazines. And she's a hard-working woman."
Whitney introduced his girlfriend to the rest of the Charmers at Landon Clements' party for Roam earlier this season of Southern Charm.
Now that Whitney is taken, Patricia has focused her attention on helping another Charmer out in the love department. Thomas Ravenel recently told PEOPLE that Patricia is going to introduce him to someone, who he said graduated from Harvard and is 35 years old. "I know. Why did I ever offer to do that?" Patricia joked to The Daily Dish. "Well, he needs it, number one. He, obviously, left to his own devices, is not that successful. So I have somebody in mind who graduated from Harvard, has a law degree, is the appropriate age, and is just a lovely woman. So we'll see what happens."
And you better believe that we're dying to hear how that date goes.
