Here's How Sutton Stracke's Kids Reacted to Seeing Her on RHOBH: "Savage"

Sutton Stracke isn't just a fashionista and boutique owner, she's also a proud mom to three kids: college-bound daughter Porter and two sons Philip and James with her ex-husband, Christian (Sutton and Christian were childhood friends before marrying in 2000 and divorced three years ago).

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal recently spoke to The Daily Dish about exactly how her kids reacted to seeing her on TV.

"You know, it’s funny. The first episode I didn’t watch with them. And then my daughter came to me the next day and says, 'Oh, I watched it on YouTube.' So I thought, well, OK, if they’re gonna watch it, then let’s just watch it together. So, we watched it together last week. And my son was like, 'Mommy, you’re savage. Why are you so savage?'" she recalled with a laugh. "I’m like, 'I wasn’t meaning to be.' They were laughing — they enjoyed it. But then the minute somebody said something about me, my son kind of perked up and said, 'Are they being mean to you?' [Laughs] He was serious, I’m like, 'it’s OK, settle down. We’re all good. That’s what we do.'"

Some viewers might be wondering if RHOBH is giving her kids another view of their mama, or if they're used to seeing her sassy side.

"... You get told be yourself, but you kind of get to be yourself on steroids a little bit. I don’t keep a lot of thoughts to myself and honestly, I’ve been saying this, do not ask me a question unless you want the answer," she said. "Don’t ask me, or say I’m gonna ask you this, but I really want you to tell me what I need to hear. If you’re asking me the question, and you really want to know what I think, I’m gonna tell you."

She continued: "I can’t flip it, unless you say to me, 'I really don’t [want to] know what you think. I really want you to tell me that I look amazing.' Then I’ll tell you, 'You look amazing.' You know, don’t ask me. So, I think that I’m myself, it’s just bigger. And it’s kind of scary. [laughs] I don’t mean to be. And I also think my sense of humor, I’m a bit sarcastic. And that people sometimes don’t understand that. And I’m realizing that."

By the way, in addition to her three kids, she's also a mama to her many, many pets.

"I don’t know why people are such cat haters. I have four dogs and two cats," she said. "My cats, they’re the best cats in the world. They’re so social. So, they want to, if there is somebody in the room, they want to come check it out. They want to be with me. They want to like monitor; my cats almost act like dogs. They sit with us. Like they’re not afraid of the dogs. They’re not skittish. They want to be your friend. They’re seriously the coolest cats ever."
