Braunwyn Windham-Burke has introduced us to some of her closest friends outside of her Real Housewives of Orange County social circle in Season 15, including Shari, with whom she had been spending a lot of time as they self-isolated during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The RHOC cast member opened up to Emily Simpson earlier this season about her friendship with Shari, who she said was helping her in her journey with sobriety. However, Braunwyn also shared that her husband, Sean Burke, was getting a little "jealous" of all of the time she was spending with Shari, noting, "She's become more of the person I go to for the hard stuff."
Braunwyn later shared how much she admires Shari in an interview during the January 6 episode of RHOC. "Shari is this amazing, strong woman. I look up to her so much. She is a single mom, she pays her own bills, she does everything on her own terms," Braunwyn said. "I want to be like that. I want to stand on my own two feet and be what I want to be."
That episode featured Braunwyn opening up to Shari and another friend, Noella, about her sobriety and her marriage. "I'm surrounding myself with like-minded women," Braunwyn said in an interview during the episode. "These are the people I'm attracting into my life right now, and it feels so good."
Shari also appeared in the RHOC Season 15 finale while helping Braunwyn get ready for Emily's beach party (clip above), where Braunwyn and Shari's friendship became a topic of conversation.
As the episode came to a close and featured updates on all of the RHOC ladies, the latest on Braunwyn's life appeared on the screen: "Braunwyn celebrated one year of sobriety with new, 29-year-old girlfriend, Kris. And while she and Shari no longer speak... Sean is still standing by his wife's side."
When it comes to Braunwyn's friendship with Noella, the two appear to be as close as ever, often appearing on each other's Insragram. Braunwyn most recently shared a photo of herself and Noella on Instagram on January 6 in advance of her friend's RHOC debut. "Soul mates come in various ways, but when you meet one that’s your best friend, hold on tight," Braunwyn wrote of Noella. "Thank you for being you, for supporting, uplifting and being there! Can’t wait for you to meet her tonight!"
