Southern Hospitality’s Mia Alario Has a Day Job in Finance
VIP hostess Mia Alario works at Republic for fun, but will the good times last for her on Southern Hospitality?
The staff members at Leva Bonaparte’s Charleston nightclub, Republic Garden & Lounge, are about to be front and center on Southern Hospitality — and when they’re not working to make sure the guests have the ultimate VIP experience, they’re hanging out, dating one another, and engaging in some good old-fashioned drama.
Mia Alario is a VIP hostess for Leva, but working at Republic isn’t her only job. Find out more about the cast member below.
Her background
The Southern Hospitality cast member is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, and she moved to the South to attend the College of Charleston. Madison “Maddi” Reese and Emmy Sharrett also attended the school (as did Southern Charm’s Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo).
Mia has degrees in finance and economics. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2019.
Her work life
Though some of her Southern Hospitality counterparts work solely at Republic, Mia also has a finance job during the day. She’s been a financial analyst since 2020. Before she took that position, Mia worked as a financial reporter at Coastal Management Group.
At night, she works shifts as a hostess at Republic.
Her personal life
Mia has not publicly shared that she is in a relationship, so viewers will have to tune in to find out if she connects with anyone at Republic.
While Mia’s romantic life is a bit of a mystery, per her official bio for the show, her friendships may go through some growing pains on the debut season.
“She has no issue speaking her mind and enjoys catching people off guard with her honesty, often rubbing the group the wrong way,” her bio reads. “Mia’s grit and commitment are always on trial with her co-workers, and she constantly has to prove she deserves her coveted spot.”
Viewers will find out what this means for Mia and her role in the group when Southern Hospitality premieres on Monday, November 28.
