Southern Hospitality's Maddi Reese Has One Major Thing in Common with Craig and Naomie
Maddi Reese is a manager at Republic whose love life could get messy on Southern Hospitality.
Though the title of Southern Hospitality evokes thoughts of warmth and kindness, not everything is peaches and cream among the staff members at Leva Bonaparte's nightclub, Republic Garden & Lounge.
The show, which premiered on Bravo on November 28, follows 10 of the VIP hosts, concierges, bartenders, and servers who work at Leva's Charleston hotspot.
In addition to working together, the cast members are friends with one another — and a few are involved in some messy love situations.
VIP Manager Madison "Maddi" Reese is one of the staff members whose love life could complicate the work dynamic at Republic.
Her background
The Southern Hospitality cast member grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina "by way of New York City."
On the premiere, Maddi opened up about her eight-year sobriety journey. She shared that she started drinking alcohol when she was 12, and that she "had to switch to drugs" when her parents bought her a breathalyzer. She noted that she went to four treatments before she got sober.
"I grew up at such a young age," Maddi said in an interview on the show. During a chat with Joe Bradley, Maddi said that she's practicing "enthusiastic sobriety," which is how she can be the life of the party at Republic.
Before Maddi started working at the nightclub full-time, she attended the College of Charleston for her undergraduate degree (just like Southern Charm's Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo). She studied Psychology and Communication, and she graduated from the Southern school in 2019.
Her work life
Maddi has been working for Leva for about four years (and she was a server at two other restaurants before that).
Before she started her VIP Manager job at Republic, Maddi was a server at one of Leva's other restaurants, Bourbon N' Bubbles.
When the 25-year-old isn't working at the Charleston club as a manager, she can be found DJ'ing there, or at other places around the Southeast.
Her personal life
According to her BravoTV.com bio, Maddi gets involved in a love triangle with a "cheating ex-boyfriend" named Trevor, and with VIP host Joe Bradley.
Viewers will have to tune in to find out how it all pans out for the Maddi.
