Is Kandi Burruss the Night Angel on The Masked Singer? Here's What She Has to Say
"People ask me that all. The. Time," The Real Housewives of Atlanta hitmaker said.
As if taking care of a newborn, running a business empire, and being an Atlanta Housewife wasn't enough to keep Kandi Burruss busy, some people are wondering if she's also been hard at work trying to get that Golden Mask Trophy by competing as the Night Angel in the current season of The Masked Singer.
The Night Angel has been belting out silky smooth renditions of iconic songs like "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Shout," and "Rise Up." She has shown vocal prowess and range in every performance throughout the season, causing many to think that Kandi is the mystery celebrity behind the mask.
Kandi addressed the speculation during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 19. "People ask me that all. The. Time. But you know what, this is what I have to say about it. Season 1, they thought I was on the show, they thought I was somebody. Season 2, they kept guessing my name. And now they're doing the same thing for Season 3," Kandi explained via video chat. "I didn't talk about it Season 1, Season 2, and I ain't doing it for Season 3. You're just going to have to watch their show."
Well, Andy Cohen and Kandi's fellow WWHL: @ Home guest Marlo Hampton certainly seem to think the Night Angel sounds a lot like the Atlanta Housewife.
Kandi would be in good company if she is, in fact, on The Masked Singer. Some of the celebs who have already been unmasked this season include fellow legends Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick.
