He's a Successful Attorney and Doting New Dad: Who Is The Valley’s Jason Caperna?
The Valley's Jason Caperna and his wife, Janet, are entering a new phase of life after welcoming a new bundle of joy in December.
The Valley’s Jason Caperna is a legitimate triple threat.
As an adoring husband, doting new dad, and successful attorney, it’s not hard to imagine what attracted Janet Caperna to her handsome hubby.
The couple married in a small ceremony in 2022 and are now embarking on a new adventure as parents to their adorable new baby and castmates on Bravo’s new Vanderpump Rules spin-off, The Valley.
Janet’s close ties with VPR alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute helped bring her into the Bravo universe, while Jason happily tagged along for the ride.
“Having lived in the same area in West Hollywood alongside Jax, Brittany and Kristen, Janet has been friends with the three for many years and made the leap to the Valley with her husband, Jason,” a Bravo cast bio explains. “A former executive assistant, Janet is taking a break from her career to focus on her newborn. Jason is a successful attorney who can argue both sides of any situation. Recently welcoming their first child, the couple is ready to begin their lives as first-time parents.”
Who is Jason Caperna?
So, just who is the man who won Janet’s heart? While we can’t wait to learn more when The Valley premieres in Spring of 2024, there are a few things we have already discovered about this debonair new dad.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Jason is a partner with the law firm Acumen Law, LLP in Glendale, Calif, where he’s worked for more than a decade.

Before entering the legal field, Jason got a bachelor’s of arts degree in political science from Boston College. He earned his law degree in 2009 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
His Instagram page suggests he enjoys golf and has a love of a good Halloween party, while also enjoying spending time with his wife, Janet.
When did Janet and Jason Caperna get married?
The couple officially tied the knot on June 12, 2022.
“We’re legally married!” Janet gushed on her own Instagram page, alongside a photo of the smiling newlyweds. “Today, on my grandparents 73rd wedding anniversary, Jason and I had a small ceremony on my Aunt & Uncle’s front porch (heart emoji). Papers are signed, ceremony in Tahiti is up next!”
Jason proved he also knows how to make a girl swoon while celebrating his wife’s birthday (and their impending baby) earlier this year.
“Happy Birthday to the person who makes it all make sense. I love you, @janetelizabethx. You have handled pregnancy in a way that impresses me to no end,” he wrote in an honorary birthday post. “As our family grows, I know that the love, respect and admiration I have for you will only do the same. I am beyond thankful that I knocked you up and now you're stuck with me for life.”
Janet returned the favor in October in a glowing post of her own for Jason’s 40th birthday.
“Happy 40th birthday Jason!!! I hope today is as wonderful as you are,” she wrote alongside a heart emoji. “ It’s easy to celebrate someone so kind, brilliant, hard working, patient, loving, funny, AND with abs like yours.”
“I am so grateful to get to spend this life with you,” she continued. “Our baby will be so lucky to call you dad. I love you (heart sign emoji) and yes, 40 is the new 30.”

The couple announced the arrival of their new baby in December of 2023 with a touching photo of the now family of three on Instagram.
“And then there were three,” Janet simply captioned the photo.
