Why Did Andy Cohen Invite Lala Kent Back on Watch What Happens Live?
The #PumpRules SURver's ban from #WWHL didn't last very long.
After Lala Kent and James Kennedy acted a little sloppy and cursed up a storm during their appearance on Watch What Happens Live in December, Andy Cohen said the Vanderpump Rules SURvers wouldn't be invited back to the Bravo Clubhouse in the future. Well, Andy clearly had a change of heart because Lala appeared as a guest on Wednesday night's episode of WWHL with Jerry O'Connell.
Lala had already apologized for her behavior on Twitter following her first appearance on WWHL, so what else could she have done to convince Andy to let her back on the show? "We spoke at the reunion and I feel great about my decision," Andy tweeted Wednesday.
Luckily, Lala controlled her potty mouth and kept it together during her return to the Bravo Clubhouse. She revealed that she received some consoling from her mom following her first appearance on the show. "You have to know my mom. She is the most supportive person in the world, so when I called her, she was like, 'You could have watched the swearing, but you know what? It wasn't that bad. In comparison to, 'You didn't kill anybody, but it was still pretty bad,'" she said during the WWHL After Show (clip above).
Lala also her appearance on WWHL to air out her grievances with some of her Vanderpump Rules castmates, including Jax Taylor's girlfriend Brittany Cartwright, from whom she still thinks she should receive an apology for how the couple treated her in Hawaii, even if Brittany begged to differ earlier this week. "I think she owes me a giant apology. I was a girl's girl," Lala told Andy. "I ran out crying. I had to go home to my mom. I think she owes me a huge apology. They both owe me one."
It sounds like Jax's apology isn't enough for Lala. "He has apologized. Whether it's heartfelt or not, I don't know," Lala said during the After Show. "I feel like Brittany does [need to apologize] because we've all seen the episode. And for some reason, it just kept getting flipped back on me. At the end of the day, I'm not dating you. I'm not your boyfriend. I can do whatever I want, and I can touch whoever I want, wherever I want."
Noticeably absent from Lala's WWHL do-over was James, and it looks like it remains to be seen whether or not he'll be invited back to the show.
However, a cardboard version of the Vanderpump Rules DJ was behind the Bravo Clubhouse bar. Still, Lala also talked about "the white Kanye West" and his DJ skills on WWHL, and she had some surprising thoughts on the matter.
