Porsha Williams On Why She Loved Being Married

Porsha Williams may be a single lady these days, but that doesn't mean she's about to go and discard a perfectly good piece of jewelry. In fact, she was spotted wearing her wedding ring from her marriage to Kordell Stewart during the current season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and now we know why she's rocking the bling given to her by her ex-husband.

"I didn't have it on my ring finger, I had it on my right hand," she recently told E! News. "So you know it's a diamond, it's mine and until I get ready to do whatever I wanna do with it, I am gonna wear it when I'm feelin' fancy."

Porsha and Kordell were married for two years and went their separate ways in 2013. When The Daily Dish spoke to Porsha earlier this year, she opened up about that time in her life. "It's hard to say [what lessons I learned] because what I really loved about marriage was that union. I loved knowing that I belonged to someone. They belonged to me and that I had a household that I was taking care of and that I was proud in that moment," she shared back in March. "And I think that will probably be what will force me to get married again 'cause that fulfillment means a lot to me; family means a lot to me."
