The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member’s twin daughters, Stella and Adeline Beador, will head off to college in the fall, and her oldest, Sophie, is currently a student at Baylor University.

While the twins’ college decisions were confirmed in May, viewers got to see the two getting their applications ready on Episode 7 of RHOC Season 17. Read on for details.

Shannon Storms Beador’s Twins’ College Application Process

On Episode 7, Shannon took Adeline and Stella to a consignment store to talk about the benefits of off-gassed clothing. While the three were in the shop, Shannon took the opportunity to chat with her daughters about their next steps.

“Girls, I have to call the college counselor this week,” Shannon told her daughters, who were concerned that they were already behind in the college application process.

“Everyone is writing their essays already,” Stella said. “We haven’t even started.”

“My friends have already applied,” Adeline added. Shannon then asked her daughters how their dad, David Beador, felt about the idea of hiring a college counselor.

“He said we don’t need one,” Stella responded. “He said we just need an essay editor.”

“Which I agree with,” Adeline said. “Like, college counselors help you figure out where you want to go, but I already know that.”

Shannon disagreed with her ex-husband and her daughters, though.

“No, college counselors create a unique application so that you can get into school, because there’s a lot of competition,” Shannon said. “So you need to have one.”

In an interview, the RHOC cast member then opened up about the schools her daughters were interested in attending.

“I think it’s around $75,000 a year for the kids to go to either NYU or USC. That’s a lot of money, and those are really difficult schools to get into,” she said. “So, do I think the Beador twins are going to be inundated with scholarships? No.”

Before the Beadors left the store (after wracking up a $3,266 bill), Shannon decided to take the girls’ next steps into her own hands.

“I’m going to hire the counselor this week,” she concluded.

Where are Shannon Storms Beador’s twin daughters going to college?

On May 16, Shannon confirmed her daughters’ exciting college decisions. Adeline will be moving to the East Coast in the fall to attend Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Stella will be staying closer to home (well, eventually), attending Shannon’s alma mater, the University of Southern California. For her freshman year, Stella will be in Paris, France, as a student in USC’s Trojan Transfer program.
