When Does Andy Cohen Think He'll Retire from Watch What Happens Live?
The #WWHL host weighs in on his late-night show and all those talk show rumors.
Bravo Rewind is celebrating the shows, moments, and Bravolebs that make this network iconic. Continue the trip down memory lane by getting an exclusive update from The Real Housewives of New York City's Kristen Taekman on Life After Bravo.
Despite what the rumor mill wants you to believe, Andy Cohen won't be exiting the Clubhouse anytime soon. The Watch What Happens Live host has long been connected to various industry gossip (like, most recently, that he would join BFF Kelly Ripa on LIVE ), but he insists he really loves his current gig.
"I will keep doing Watch What Happens Live for as long as I can. I mean there are times when I'm tired or I'm over it, but mainly I'm very into it," he told The Daily Dish. "I absolutely love it. I think I have the greatest job in TV. I get to be myself. I get to have fun. I mean, it's great."
Still, folks want to connect him to other high-profile hosting jobs. And he's fine to let people gossip. "You know there was a thing going on where my name was mentioned when Michael Strahan left Kelly's show, and as fun as that would be, I'm under contract to NBCUniversal, so I couldn't do it from the start," he said. "And I kept telling everyone who would listen, 'I can't do this.' But nobody really wanted to listen. So I'm flattered that anyone would consider that I even could do the job as Kelly's co-host like that's awesome or on the Today show, that is the ultimate compliment for me."
