One of the high-profile projects associated with embattled producer Harvey Weinstein was canned pretty much immediately after news broke last month that he had preyed on, sexually assaulted, and harassed actresses and Hollywood insiders for decades. That project was an Amazon series starring Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore.
At the time, the actors, along with director David O. Russell, released a statement: "We support Amazon’s decision as in light of recent news and out of respect for all those affected we have decided together that it is best to not move forward with this show.”
When Moore appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, she briefly opened up about the series (which she described as "a big family drama") and, along with fellow guest Whoopi Goldberg, revealed if she thinks this "debacle" (as Goldberg referred to it) can change the way things operate in Hollywood. Find out what they had to share, above.
Below, Moore reacts to another recent controversy.
