Can Austen Kroll and Ciara Miller Ever Be Friends?
Austen asks ex-fling Ciara what she needs from him in order to get their friendship back on track.
Exes Ciara Miller and Austen Kroll haven’t exactly been getting along since the latter cast member made his late arrival on Winter House Season 2, and they’ve gotten into several arguments as they try to navigate living together post-fling.
After clashing about whether Austen’s then-girlfriend, Olivia Flowers, should visit the house, and about the last person Ciara slept with, is all hope lost for these two to come together for a friendship?
In a preview for the December 15 episode, which you can watch in the video above, Austen tries to find out if any part of his (platonic) relationship with Ciara is salvageable.
“I didn’t know what sort of line that we’d be, like, toeing on this trip,” Austen says. “Being in a house with someone that you have had feelings for, and, like, emotions with in the past is super tough, and it’s like, ‘What’s flirting and what’s being friends?’”
Ciara recognizes that it isn’t an easy situation, but she tells Austen that the trip hasn’t really felt like a vacation for her.
“Honestly, the two weeks have not been worth you trying to come at me every opportunity that you get,” Ciara explains.
Though it doesn’t seem like the housemates will resolve their issues, Austen has one last plea for the nurse. “I just want to know what you need from me in order to have a friendship and relationship, because it’s important to me,” he adds.
