Find Out Who Tom Schwartz Kissed on Winter House
Plus, see which trio of Winter House cast members shared a three-way kiss.
Sparks have been flying between Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz and Below Deck Mediterranean's Katie Flood on Winter House, but she wasn't the one he wound up kissing during Season 3, Episode 2 on Oct. 31.
Who was? None other than Summer House's Kyle Cooke.
The longtime friends shared the smooch during "Message in a Bottle," the aptly-titled game the entire cast played as part of their pirate-themed party. Keep scrolling to get all the details and to find out where Kyle's wife Amanda Batula was during the kiss, as well as more on Tom and Katie's budding romance.
Tom Schwartz and Kyle Cooke's Kiss
The rules of the game were simple. As Katie explained, "We're doing 'Message in a Bottle.' [You get] a question and you have to answer it. And if it has a gold coin on the bottom, every single one of us has to answer."
Kyle's question was, of course, "Who would you like to kiss?"
And with Amanda being absent (more on that below), he decided to reply, "To be honest, if I drink enough Loverboy, I can totally kiss Tom."
The rest was history, and Tom even called the kiss "kind of sweet."
Interestingly enough, Kyle's question was accompanied by a gold coin, so that meant a few of his Winter House castmates provided their own answers. Brian Benni named Katie, while Malia White opted for Kory Keefer (though none of these came to fruition). One kiss that did actually happen was between Danielle Olivera, Jordan Emanuel, and Alex Propson.
Why Amanda Batula Was Missing on Winter House Season 3, Episode 2
Amanda couldn't make it to Colorado on the Winter House Season 3 premiere because of a bachelorette party, but her absence from Episode 2 was for a different reason: She was sick. As she told Kyle during one phone call, "I feel awful right now. I hate throwing up so much."
She added that there was "no way" she could make her flight, meaning that she'd have to come to the Winter House at a later date. Naturally, Kyle was sad, but he expressed that he ultimately just wanted his wife to feel better.
Tom Schwartz and Katie Flood's Connection
Tom and Katie may not have kissed, but they hit it off earlier in the episode and that's what led to Tom choosing her as the person he wanted to "marry" during a round of "f-ck, marry, kill" at the pirate party. As he told the yachtie, "We bonded so much today."
What's more, Tom told Kyle, Brian, and Kory, "Katie's a 10 out of 10 for me."
"I think you guys would vibe," Kyle replied, prompting Tom to explain, "I don't know if I'm vibe-worthy right now. [But] if it happens organically, I'm not gonna fight it. I'm open to love."
He elaborated on his attraction for Katie in a confessional interview, explaining, "Katie seems instantly likable. I mean, I've always been a sucker for an accent. I think she's objectively beautiful."
Tom's only concern? Well, it has to do with his ex-wife, Katie Maloney. As he put it, "[I] did have a problem with the name."
