Lindsay Hubbard Fires Back at Amanda Batula for Her Shady Comments on WWHL
During an appearance on WWHL, Amanda had choice words about Lindsay — but Lindsay responded and brought out the receipts.
Things are heating up in the off-season for the Summer House cast members.
During an October 27 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Winter House’s Amanda Batula and Paige DeSorbo played a game of “Who’s Guilty as Sin?” — and it turned shady pretty quickly.
Host Andy Cohen listed off different “sinful behaviors,” and the besties had to identify which of the Winter House cast members they would apply to.
In the video above, Andy asks who is the “rudest” toward fans.
“No one in that group,” Paige says, and Andy asks who is “jumping out” to them. Andy guesses Lindsay Hubbard (who will be making an appearance on Winter House later in the season with her now-fiancé Carl Radke). While Paige plays it coy, Amanda nods along to Andy’s guess.
“Yeah, she can be [rude], from my experience,” Amanda says. Paige jokes that her pal is going to get an “uncomfortable text” from Lindsay after the show.
Andy wonders if Amanda saw Lindsay being rude to fans at BravoCon 2022, but Amanda says “she was wonderful at the event.”
“It’s been more, you know, [when she’s] caught off-guard,” she adds.
After Amanda made her shady comments on WWHL, she got more than just an uncomfortable text. Lindsay took to her Instagram Stories (which you can also check out on @QueensofBravo and on @BestofBravo as well as @BravobyBetches) to fire back at the claim that she’s not nice to fans.
“I want to be very clear,” Lindsay wrote on a photo of her, Amanda, Carl, and Kyle Cooke at a Loverboy event. “I don’t work for Loverboy, yet showed up to support my friends over 30 times in 2021 out of love for Carl and out of support for my friends… Why would I do that if I didn’t like fans? Or if I was rude? Why would I VOLUNTEER to be at more events than I need to? Think about that one.”
Lindsay shared several photos of her attending various Loverboy events around the country, and she also reposted fans who said they had positive interactions with her.
She finished her Story with a photo of her and Amanda together at BravoCon.
“I’m so f--king tired of people dragging my name through the mud when I’m nothing but nice to them, show them kindness, respect, and support,” she wrote. “Clean up your side of the street because mine is doing just fine.”
It’s safe to say that Amanda’s WWHL comments have activated Lindsay.
