Paige DeSorbo Is *Not* Happy with Jessica Stocker for Calling Her a “Mean Girl”
The Winter House cast members get into a disagreement that also involves Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller.
Jessica Stocker isn’t feeling the love from her fellow Winter House cast members.
So when Paige DeSorbo confronts her for “going around [and] saying s--t” — including that Paige, Amanda Batula, and Ciara Miller are “mean girls” — Jessica uses the opportunity to explain where she’s coming from.
“It’s not like I’m going around trying to run my mouth,” Jessica responds. “I do feel like I walk in the room and I’m not always, like, noticed or complimented. Obviously it’s a different vibe because you three are close. It does feel like mean girls, kind of.”
“It’s a feeling that I have,” she adds, “whether it’s an insecurity from my childhood, I don’t know. I just feel like I’m walking into high school and I don’t fit in.”
Jessica expands on these issues stemming from her childhood in an episode interview. “When I was younger, my childhood best friend ended up going to private school,” she reveals. “I was still home schooled, and she had kind of turned on me. It was hard for me to trust after that.”
As such, she tells the Winter House group, “I just feel like you can’t force friendships,” Jessica says, “and I don’t feel like I’ve clicked a lot with any of you guys.”
Paige, however, disagrees. “I genuinely don’t feel like that,” she tells Jessica. “Have you ever once checked in on me? No. Have I come to you, checked in to make sure you’re OK? Abso-f--king-lutely.”
“I am so done with the mean girl s--t,” Paige adds. “I’m so done with people calling me out. You want to see a mean girl? I’ll show you a f--king mean girl.”
